Magali Gary-Bobo is a CNRS researcher and co-director of the "Glyco and nanovectors for therapeutic targeting" team at Institute des Biomolecules Max Mousseron in Montpellier. She is co-author of 146 publications and co-inventor of 7 patents, including 2 with licenses. She has developed expertise in photodynamic therapy, particularly in the near-infrared range, using photoactivatable nanoparticles for cancer targeting, imaging and therapy. She is also co-founder of NanoMedSyn, a company developing targeted therapies for cancers and rare diseases.
